NEXT #MAKETHEMOST SESSION
To be announced soon.
The universe of European funding is unfamiliar to many performers in Portugal and is perceived as being complex in terms of its language and procedures. Designations such as Portugal 2020, Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Horizon 2020 and Operational Programmes may be a part of our daily lives, but we do not know if we can be beneficiaries or how to proceed.
For this reason, the GDA Foundation has supported performers and other members of this sector who are interested in understanding and developing projects with European partnerships and funding. In 2018, the #makethemost project represented an important development in this area.
The #makethemost project aims to provide motivation, knowledge and the ability to identify funding opportunities for artistic and cultural projects. Through informal afternoon sessions in privileged spaces, it stimulates dialogue and the exchange of experiences. By facilitating access to information about project management and European funding, the GDA Foundation strives to create incentives for the internationalization and development of projects that reflect the enormous talent of Portuguese performers.
Francisco Cipriano is in charge of moderating these sessions and has been acting as a consultant to the GDA Foundation in this area. His career is closely linked with means to support public policies, focused on regional development and the cohesion policy.
