i-Portunus continues to support the mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals among all countries participating in the Creative Europe Programme. A second pilot project was selected and co-funded by the Creative Europe program and a consortium headed by Goethe-Institut with Institut français and Izolyatsia.

Partnerships for Creativity

The COVID-19 crisis has hit the cultural and creative sectors particularly hard. Partnerships for Creativity aim to engage organisations in the fields of formal, informal and non-formal education, together with those from the creative and cultural sectors to stimulate European awareness and empower people of current and future generations – regardless of social and cultural background – to be successful innovators in their local environment. This action aims to enhance skills development and competencies that reinforce creativity, as well as to boost quality, innovation and recognition of youth work that support the creative potential of youth, thus contributing to the recovery resilience of the cultural and creative sectors.

Bridging Culture and Audiovisual Content through digital

Within the specific objective to foster policy development, innovation, creativity, audience development and new business and management models through support for transnational policy cooperation, the cross-sectoral strand of the Creative Europe Programme shall provide support to projects featuring new forms of creation at the cross roads between different cultural and creative sectors through the use of innovative technologies. It will therefore foster innovative cross-sectoral approaches and tools to facilitate access, distribution, promotion and/or monetization of culture and creativity, including cultural heritage.

The general objectives of the Programme shall be:

EEA Grants Travel Grants:
Connecting Dots – Arts Mobility and Audience Development (2020)

This call will support travel expenses for eligible entities regarding the establishment or reinforcement of international partnerships, and the preparation of joint project applications under the Open Call 2 “Connecting Dots – Arts Mobility and Audience Development”, launched on the 5th September 2019.

Music Moves Europe (2020)

Music Moves Europe (MME) is the overarching framework for the European Commission’s initiatives and actions in support of Europe’s music sector. Developed from a series of meetings with representatives of the music sector starting in 2015, Music Moves Europe was launched as a strategic initiative by the Commission. It has since developed further and today stands for the EU support for music.

Cultural Cooperation Projects in the Western Balkans (2019)

This Call for Proposals is entirely funded by the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA II). It is implemented in accordance with the applicable rules of the Creative Europe program and the relevant work program. The overall objective of this Call is to foster reconciliation and good neighborly relations in the Western Balkans through cultural cooperation and creation.

This program seeks to stimulate interest in European audiovisual works through the promotion initiatives that value the diversity of European audiovisual works – such as festivals and other promotional events – and activities that stimulate film literacy and increasing the audience’s knowledge in European audiovisual and cinematographic heritage, in particular among young audiences.
