The main goal of the GDA Foundation’s Social Action department is promoting the physical, psychological and social wellbeing of performers.
In a context with pronounced unemployment rates, especially in the arts, inefficient guarantees provided by social protection mechanisms and inadequate healthcare available to performers, the Foundation’s intervention policy represents a supplement to ease these difficult conditions.
As such, the Social Action department provides a range of services that intend to contribute as a complementary answer to these shortcomings, aiming to achieve a better quality of life for performers.
