The Young Musicians Award is an annual competition, promoted by RTP through Antena 2, with the objective of discovering new talents and promoting young national (or residing in Portugal) performers in the field of classical music. This award is attributed in the scope of the Festival Jovens Músicos, an initiative organised by Antena 2 and the Serviço de Música of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
